About the Role The Proposal Engineer is a technical and commercial role that operates at the intersection of engineering and sales, who is responsible for preparing competitive technical and commercial proposals, including drawings, technical specifications and cost estimates, combining strong engineering expertise with a commercial mindset. The role aims to develop customer-focused test bench proposals aligned with technical requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams and contributing to the company's commercial growth. Responsabilities Analyse tender documents (RFQ/RFP), technical specifications,



and contractual requirements to identify the most suitable technical solutions for the proposal of customised test benches in automotive, aerospace, or structural engineering. Review sales information and determine if there is sufficient information to prepare a proposal. Interface with Engineering, Procurement, Sales, and Operations teams to gather technical inputs and define integrated solutions. Assure that every aspect of the tender has been evaluated by each department and the proposal has been developed accordingly. Distribute sales requests to other departments if needed. Ensure all sales requests are properly set up and tracked. Generate sales proposals: drawings (initial concept), preliminary sizing, technical specification, and cost estimates.
