Chief Machinery and Packages Engineer | Take Project Ownership at Arkad Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineering expert with a long-standing track record in managing complex machinery and package delivery for large-scale energy projects? At Arkad , we are expanding our permanent Head Office / Engineering Hub following the acquisition of major multi-year international contracts. We are looking for a Chief Machinery and Packages Engineer for a long-term, full-time position. Note: This position focuses strictly on full technical execution and delivery responsibility for assigned project scopes, rather than hierarchical people management. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Project Delivery & Ownership: Ensure all activities related to the Machinery and Packages engineering discipline on assigned projects are efficiently and cost-effectively executed in full compliance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety/environment requirements. Technical Assurance: Lead the Technical Assurance process for the assigned project. Schedule & Cost Control:



Prepare deliverables planning in line with the project schedule, monitor progress deviations, and set up clear recovery plans when necessary. Man-Hour Tracking: Plan and control discipline engineering man-hours against the schedule and budget, rigorously monitoring spent vs. earned hours. Deliverables Approval: Review and formally approve all discipline outputs, including technical specifications, mechanical data sheets, inspection data sheets, material requisitions, and technical bid evaluations for equipment. Procurement & Subcontractor Supervisions: Oversee the overall Material Requisitions process for mechanical equipment (MR issue, technical bid evaluations, vendor follow-up, and review of vendor technical documentation). Coordinate engineering subcontractor activities and interface directly with suppliers to resolve technical issues. Client Interface: Act as the primary technical point of contact and key person
