Location: Avenza Carrara Department: Operations Reporting to: Technical Service Manager / Energy Manager Role Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Energy Champion to support and drive energy efficiency initiatives within our energy-intensive industrial operations. The ideal candidate is an engineer with proven experience in energy optimization, a strong passion for energy, and the ability to deliver measurable improvements in energy performance. Key Responsibilities Identify, analyze, and implement energy efficiency opportunities across production processes and utilities. Monitor energy consumption KPIs and develop reporting dashboards to track performance. Lead energy-saving projects from feasibility study to execution, ensuring ROI targets are achieved. Support the implementation and maintenance of Energy Management Systems (e.g., ISO 50001). Conduct energy audits and propose actionable improvement plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, engineering) to optimize energy use.



Drive cultural change by promoting awareness and best practices in energy efficiency across the organization. Stay updated on new technologies, incentives, and regulations related to energy management. Requirements Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Energy, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred). 2–5 years of experience in energy efficiency, energy management, or industrial optimization. Strong analytical skills and familiarity with energy monitoring systems and data analysis tools. Knowledge of industrial processes and utilities (e.g., compressed air, steam, HVAC, electrical systems). Experience with energy audits and efficiency projects. Knowledge of ISO 50001 is a plus. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
