Role: Project Manager / Consultant – Data Centre Connectivity Migration Location: Milan, Italy Job type: 12-month fixed-term contract Start date: 27 July Initially site-based, with potential flexibility later We're upporting a specialist data centre connectivity business that has been appointed to deliver the due diligence and readiness phase for a major data centre campus expansion in Milan. This is a hybrid project management and consulting role, focused on connectivity migration, carrier coordination, POP room transition planning, fibre routing/tracing, and physical/logical assessment within a live data centre environment. This is not a standard cabling installation role. We need someone who can take ownership of workstreams, manage work packages, coordinate stakeholders and support milestone-based delivery. The project will involve: Coordinating activity with multiple carriers Supporting connectivity transition from one part of the campus to another Working around POP rooms,



MMRs, cross-connects, white space, fibre and data cabling Supporting physical and logical infrastructure assessments Identifying shared infrastructure, risks, blockers and dependencies Managing project milestones, reporting and stakeholder communication Providing project management and consultancy support in a live data centre environment The ideal background: Data centre, telecoms, carrier, connectivity or network infrastructure projects Experience with data centre transitions, relocations or migrations Strong understanding of white space, cabling, fibre, hardware and carrier environments Experience coordinating carriers or telecoms providers Ability to take ownership of work packages and drive activity on site Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
