ABOUT THE ROLE – Mechanical & Machinery Engineer We are looking for a Mechanical & Machinery Engineer with at least 5 years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas industry. Reporting to the Jacket Engineering Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, coordinating, and supporting the design, selection, and specification of mechanical equipment and rotating/static machinery for offshore wellhead platforms, ensuring compliance with project requirements, international standards, and operational reliability. Location: Assago (Milan) Main Responsibilities: Design & Engineering • Review mechanical and machinery engineering deliverables for wellhead platform systems, including: Chemical injection and utility water pumps Compressors (where applicable)



Diesel or gas-driven engines Pressure vessels, tanks, and filters HVAC and utility systems (cooling water, air systems) • Review technical datasheets, specifications, and material requisitions for mechanical packages. • Verify equipment sizing calculations, capacity checks, and interface alignment. • Ensure design integration and alignment with Process, Piping, Structural, and Instrumentation disciplines. Equipment Specification & Procurement Support • Review vendor quotations and perform Technical Bid Evaluations (TBE). • Support Procurement and Package Engineers in preparing purchase orders and Vendor Document Requirement Lists (VDRL). • Participate in design reviews and ensure vendor compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and industry standards (API, ASME, etc.).
