SENIOR MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER - RAIL DOMAIN
Job location: Firenze
Salary range: 32000 E - 40000 E
Role Overview
The selected resource will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy, responsibility and coordination, will give support to Mechanical Integration activities and deliverables,
within the perimeter of projects and tenders of his/her own assignment, applying appropriate instructions, processes and tools.
Technical responsibilities
Support and coordination of development activities during bid and project phases on mechanical integration design of the vehicles (including interiors/exteriors, underframe, roof and cab)Definition/validation of design requirements for mechanical integration and fittings
Analysis and validation of Suppliers' technical proposals Development of 3D/2D drawings and design for Mechanical Integration and installation activities, from concept up to final release
Validation of structural design, via FEM analysis report review
Production support and follow up updates, including change management
Project Design reviews with Customer and Suppliers
Work Experience
Required Skills/ Knowledge
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical background
