/p h3Meet The Team /h3 pThe Interoperability Solutions Team is part of the Advanced Product Technology Experiences (APTX) group within the RD organization.
Interoperability Solutions delivers industry-leading data connectivity with external EHR systems, healthcare organizations, and data partners, leveraging the latest API standards.
We enable efficient and scalable data exchange and ensure compliance with the latest health industry API standards,



such as the Fast Healthcare interoperability Resources (FHIR).
This technical consultant role will be directly supporting the FHIR API interoperability development and integrations in Italy and report to the Director of Interoperability Solutions Team based in the U.S. This role is based in Italy, in Milan.
/p h3Where You Come In /h3 ul liGathers and evaluates external customer requirements for FHIR API interoperability solutions in Italy /li liAdvises on the design and implementation of solutions integrating with external applications using FHIR APIs with digital health platforms and health systems in Italy /li liEvaluates EHR and external healthcare information systems to determine interoperability requirements and identifies and helps design FHIR-based solutions that will meet customer's needs within specified timeframes /li liInteracts with IT teams of the external customers from initial engagement through implementation by attending customer meetings, technical calls, testing and integration sessions in person and online within Italy (travel within Italy is required).
/li liAssists with testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of FHIR API solutions to identify and resolve issues with external stakeholders /li liInterfaces with software engineering teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality products /li liPrepares necessary documentation for customer integration solution releases, such as release notes, sandbox environments, and user guides.
/li liProvides daily updates and interacts with the Interoperability Solutions Team /li /ul h3What Makes You Successful /h3 ul liReal-world technical experience with FHIR APIs and knowledge of FHIR standards and documentation /li liProven track record of delivering FHIR applications in healthcare environment in Italy /li liPassion for collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design,
