/h3pTrinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and patient-focused bRadiology Technologist /b to join our Urgent Care team.
In this role, you will operate diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain quality digital images of designated body positions for interpretation by physicians.
/ph3What You'll Do /h3ullipPrepares patients for procedures utilizing aseptic and sterile techniques.
/p /lilipPositions patients for radiologic examination.
/p /lilipPerforms diagnostic radiographic procedures through the application of ionizing radiation to produce digitized images.
/p /lilipMay operate diagnostic bone density equipment /p /lilipDirectly enters medication, laboratory, and/or radiology orders into the electronic medical record system.
/p /li /ulh3What We're Looking For /h3ullipEDUCATION: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
For those obtaining Bone Density images, graduation from an accredited school of clinical densitometry technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.
/p /lilipCREDENTIALS/LICENSURE: Valid CPR certification.
Valid registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
For those obtaining Bone Density images, valid certification by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or ability to become certified within 90 days of hire.
/p /lilipMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1-2 years' prior experience helpful, but not required.
