You will contribute to the definition of firmware architectures, ensure reliable hardware-software integration, and support the development of safety-oriented products.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESDesign, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for microcontroller and programmable logic applications, primarily in CDefine firmware architectures and support board commissioning activities for new hardware platformsDevelop low-level drivers and firmware modules for MCU peripherals, including ADCs, GPIOs, Timers, and communication interfaces such as CAN, I2C, and SPIDevelop, integrate, and maintain system and application softwareEnsure robust hardware-software integration throughout the entire development lifecyclePerform software testing, debugging, and validation in both target and test environmentsContribute to functional safety-related activities, including architecture and design documentation, code reviews, and test specification definitionEnsure compliance with relevant industry norms and standards, supporting upcoming functional safety applicationsTroubleshoot field issues and conduct root-cause analyses to ensure product reliabilityCollaborate closely with developers, project managers,



and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful project executionYOUR QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLSDegree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldSeveral years of professional experience in embedded software development on ARM-based microcontrollersExcellent knowledge of C and C++, with good knowledge of VHDLSolid experience with MCU peripherals such as ADCs, GPIOs, Timers, and communication protocols including CAN, I2C, and SPIExperience with on-chip debugging and tracing toolsKnowledge of functional safety standards such as IEC 61508, ISO 13849, or similar is considered an advantageStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsIndependent, structured, and solution-oriented working styleExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFluent in English; as well as in German and/or ItalianOUR COMMITMENTInnovative work environment in a young, dynamic teamHigh-tech projects in the future-proof sector of e-mobilityOpportunities for advancement in a growing companyA wide range of further training opportunitiesTotal compensation starting from € 74,000 gross per year, including a 30% variable premio based on goal achievementAdditional company benefitsThe compensation indicated represents the total compensation for this role.
