ppA leading European real assets investment manager is looking to appoint an Investment Director to join its growing team in Rome.
/p pThe successful individual will take a senior role across the origination, evaluation and execution of investments across the Italian market, with a particular focus on energy transition, renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOriginate and develop new investment opportunities across the Italian real assets market.
/li liLead transactions from initial screening through due diligence, Investment Committee approval, negotiation and completion.
/li liTake ownership of financial analysis, valuation, transaction structuring and investment returns.
/li liCoordinate financial, commercial, legal, tax and technical due diligence.
/li liLead negotiations with developers, vendors, advisers, financing partners and other counterparties.
/li liPrepare and present investment recommendations to senior stakeholders and Investment Committees.
/li liSupport portfolio strategy, refinancing, follow-on investments and potential exits.




/li liBuild and maintain senior relationships across developers, advisers, banks and institutional investors.
/li liMentor and support junior members of the investment team.
/li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 ul liApproximately 10+ years' experience within infrastructure, real assets, renewable energy investment, private equity, MA or investment banking.
/li liStrong track record of executing infrastructure or energy-related transactions.
/li liDemonstrable experience operating within the Italian market.
/li liExcellent financial modelling, valuation and commercial analysis capabilities.
/li liStrong transaction structuring and negotiation experience.
/li liAbility to independently lead complex investment processes.
/li liStrong senior stakeholder and Investment Committee exposure.
/li liFluent Italian and English.
/li /ul pbRelevant sector experience may include solar, wind, BESS, energy networks, sustainable infrastructure, energy efficiency and wider real assets.
