Each day, you will execute technical support, act as a specialist, and solve problems in your own area of expertise. You will also showcase your expertise by communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams proactively to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth. /ppYou will be mainly accountable for: /pulliProviding technical support and solving problems in own expertise area via remote or on-site service in any Service category. /liliDetermining effective Service applications, equipment, and methods to develop, market, or manufacture new Service offerings to respond to customer requirements cost-effectively. /liliProviding technical consulting on Service solutions to management and customers. /liliIdentifying new sales opportunities, proactively communicating both with the customer and ABB sales teams to ensure customer needs are understood and business opportunities utilized for service growth. /li /ulh3Qualifications for the role /h3ulliAt least 5 years' experience in service activities. /liliExperience in coordination engineering teams about design of control logic for energy production systems, DEHC, BMS, boiler, etc.



/liliSpecific knowledge of software applications in power market like Reactive Power Regulation "Sart", Primary Frequency Power Regulation. /liliAt least 5 years' experience in the commissioning phase of the above-mentioned applications and control logic. /liliExperience using virtualized systems, covering configuration, operation, and maintenance. /liliThe candidate must possess the following product expertise at excellent level: INFI90, Harmony and S+ Suite technology for Operation, Engineering and Historian. Other ABB automation lines, like AC800F / AC800M, S800 and AC500 suite. /liliExcellent knowledge of the standard protocol used in the industrial market like Profibus Master/Slave, OPC, ModBus, etc. /liliKnowledge of cybersecurity regulations applied to power generation facilities. /liliCandidates must be willing to travel for assignments averaging two weeks in duration, focusing on preventive maintenance or commissioning activities—primarily at sites within Italy; some tasks may also involve short‑term interventions lasting approximately 2–3 days.
