To reinforce our supply chain team, we're hiring a buyer. General Tasks: - Implementation of _Oracle i-Supplier_ collaborative tool
- Contact with Italian and foreign suppliers
- Placing of orders into the management system and timely control of their fulfillment with reminders
- Update delivery dates with communication to the various departments
- Requesting offers and updating of prices and price lists
- Reporting for Management
- Management of Service contracts and Maintenance with suppliers
- Vendor rating: periodic reassessment of supplier service KPIs and analysis of corrective actions for supplier improvement/growth
- Scouting and auditing new suppliers **Job experience / Knowledge**: - 5-10 years of proven experience in a role in manufacturing companies (preferred multinational companies)
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience and high school degree




- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
- Advanced level of Excel
- Knowledge of production processes **Personal qualification profile**: - Excellent communication skills
- Analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Availability for business travels and meetings at suppliers
- Teamworking
- Quick responsiveness in managing requests
- Autonomy
