- location_on Milano, IT Legal Affairs Director Food We are looking for a Legal Affairs Director to join our Group Legal Team for the Food Business Unit based in Milan.

- The role of the Legal Affairs Director is pivotal to continue to nurture an effective business partnering culture between the legal department and the organization and contribute to strengthen the high-performing team attitude of the legal department.
- How your agenda looks like:
Your role will be to ensure the proper management of all legal matters concerning the company, guaranteeing compliance with applicable legislations, the protection of corporate interests, and the overall minimization of legal risks. More in particular the role’s main responsibilities are: - Providing legal advice to various company departments, supporting management in strategic decision-making;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements (such as supply, distribution, services, sales, consulting) both at national and international level;
- Ensuring product compliance via the review of marketing materials (such claims and marketing campaigns);
- Managing pre-litigation activities and litigations before relevant authorities (with the support of outside legal counsels);
- Managing consumers’ complaints;
- Defining and implementing annual legal training plans for the business;
- Staying abreast of developments in the legal framework relevant for Bolton and act upon;
- Managing outside legal counsels and the relevant budget;




- Supporting the Group Chief Legal and Compliance Officer in the different initiatives concerning the department.
- Your team: - You’ll directly report to our Group Chief Legal and Compliance Officer
This role does not include direct or functional reports.
- What makes you a great fit: - Law Master Degree. Qualification as a lawyer is a plus
- 10+ years of previous experience in a similar role within international structured groups (preferably in FMCGs companies active in the food sector)
- Solution-oriented with a proactive approach and flexibility to switch among different matters
- Ability to convey in a simple and effective way complex legal concepts and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Interest and ability to manage complexity
- Strong personal motivation and goal oriented
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
- High energy and a positive and proactive attitude
- Fluent English required
