The role ensures technical integrity, compliance with project specifications, safe installation, and interface coordination with structures, subsea production equipment, and offshore construction teams. General Description of Role and Responsibilities: Engineering Design & Technical Review Perform and review design calculations for pipeline wall thickness, on-bottom stability, free-span assessment, corrosion protection, and burial requirements. Review pipeline routing,



tie-in configurations, expansion control, and pipeline crossing designs. Conduct design verification and ensure compliance with DNV-ST-F101, API, ISO, and project-specific standards. Review pipeline materials selection, coating systems, and cathodic protection principles. Shallow-Water Installation Engineering Prepare and review installation procedures for pipe laying (S-lay/barge), shore approach, trenching, jetting, and burial. Evaluate environmental conditions and their impact on installation. Interface with marine operations teams for vessel readiness and operational limits. Interface & Coordination Coordinate with subsea structures, riser teams, and topsides engineering. Provide technical clarification to fabrication and installation contractors.
