Sharing our experience for a better blue tomorrow.- Purpose As Floatel Manager you You lead the safe, efficient operation and management of accommodation vessels, aligning closely with SBM’s safety and operational standards. You ensure all vessel activities meet project requirements and stakeholder expectations from onboarding through project completion.
- Responsibilities You promote safety awareness, adhering to SBM’s management systems, codes of practice, and prime policies.
- You act as SBM’s charterer representative, knowledgeable in safety procedures, marine operations, and FPSO management.
- You coordinate accommodation vessel tenders, defining project specifications and a clear responsibility matrix.
- You guide emergency response planning for project campaigns, ensuring preparedness and compliance.
- You lead the vessel qualification process,



aligning vessel selection with project and client needs.
- You oversee vessel inspections, manage punch-list items, and support procedural development for campaign execution.
- You supervise Floatel campaign launch, from vessel on-hire to the induction of Floatel Coordinators.
- You monitor project expenditures and contractor performance, ensuring cost-effectiveness and project compliance.
- Education Engineering degree and/or Marine Diploma in Marine, Offshore Operations, or a related field. Equivalent maritime qualifications may be considered
- Experience Minimum of 10 years of offshore industry experience preferably with accommodation vessels or marine operations with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Proven experience in Marine activities (offshore installation, Operations, Accommodation vessels, etc.. )
- Comprehensive knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices in offshore environments.
- Strong knowledge of marine classification, certification, and regulatory procedures.
- Familiarize with working procedure, regulatory compliance and offshore constraints
- Experience in personnel management, logistics, and resource coordination in a complex offshore setting.
