The Grid Engineer will contribute to the design, analysis and integration of electrical infrastructure for utility-scale wind projects, supporting grid connection activities and ensuring compliance with technical standards and grid requirements.
- Support grid connection activities across all project phases (development, design, construction and commissioning).
- Perform and/or review power system studies (load flow, short circuit, voltage control, harmonics).
- Assist in the preparation of grid connection applications and technical documentation for TSOs/DSOs.
- Contribute to the design and optimization of HV/MV electrical systems, substations and interconnection solutions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable grid codes, standards and utility requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, EPC) and external consultants.
- Support troubleshooting and technical analysis during construction and commissioning phases.
- Maintain and update electrical models and project documentation.
- Contribute to technical risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
Requisiti:
Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.Typically 2-5 years of experience in power systems, grid connection or electrical engineering (renewable energy is a plus).Knowledge of power system fundamentals, grid infrastructure and electrical design.Familiarity with grid codes and technical requirements.Experience with simulation tools such as PSS®E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD or similar is preferred.Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.Ability to work in a team-oriented and international environment.Fluent in English.
