They are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of a flagship data centre development in Milan. The role covers full commercial management of MEP packages across the project lifecycle, working closely with project leadership, site teams, design managers and client representatives to ensure robust cost control, contract compliance and strong commercial performance. You will be responsible for managing valuations, variations, procurement support and subcontractor accounts, ensuring accurate reporting and effective commercial management across all MEP scopes within a complex, fast-paced delivery environment. Working closely with engineering, planning and delivery teams, you will ensure scope alignment, cost certainty and commercial risk is actively managed in line with programme and client requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesManage MEP commercial activities across the full project lifecyclePrepare and review valuations,



applications for payment and variation accountsAdminister subcontractor accounts and manage contractual obligationsSupport procurement of MEP subcontract packages and suppliersMonitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial reportingIdentify, assess and manage commercial risks and opportunitiesEnsure contract compliance and adherence to main contract requirementsWork closely with engineering and site teams to align scope and deliverySupport change management, claims and compensation events where requiredLiaise with client and consultant teams on commercial mattersContribute to monthly cost reporting and project financial reviewsRequirementsProven Quantity Surveyor experience with strong MEP exposurexrdztoy Background working for main contractors on large-scale industrial or hyperscale data centre projectsStrong understanding of mechanical, electrical and public health systemsExperience managing subcontractor accounts and complex packagesGood knowledge of construction contracts, valuations and cost controlStrong analytical, negotiation and communication skillsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similarExperience working within large, multi-disciplinary project environmentsPackage85k - 100k basic + overseas packageAccommodation and travel supportBonus schemePrivate healthcare and pensionLong-term role on a flagship hyperscale data centre project in Europe
