Group, Operations Group Product Management Arduino is now part of the Qualcomm organization! At Arduino, we're looking for a Robotics Product Manager to lead the evolution of our robotics platforms—including mobile robots, robotic arms, sensor and actuator ecosystems, and learning kits—designed to support real‐world exploration, hands‐on education, and advanced prototyping.
In this role, you'll partner closely with engineering, design, research, and business teams to define and deliver robotics products that truly matter. From early concept validation to launch and continuous improvement, you'll own the entire product lifecycle with a strong focus on user needs, technical robustness, integrated hardware‐software experiences, and business impact. This position will be based at our operational headquarters in Turin, Italy.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field. 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience. Seasonal celebrations, happy hours, and everyday drinks & snacks Define and manage the roadmap for robotics platforms across Education, Maker, and Professional markets. Identify new robotics opportunities through market research, user insights, and competitive analysis. Translate ideas into clear product strategies that align with Arduino's mission and the evolving robotics ecosystem.
Collaborate with hardware, embedded, and software engineering teams to define functional and technical requirements. Oversee mechanical, electrical, and firmware development, ensuring alignment with cost,
quality, and timeline targets. Coordinate with supply chain and operations throughout prototyping, pre‐series builds, and production ramp‐up.
Ensure documentation, safety, and compliance standards relevant to robotics (including mechatronics and motion systems). Partner with content and support teams to produce tutorials, example projects, classroom resources, and getting‐started guides. Prepare for Go‐to‐Market and Launch Design and lead validation cycles, including field testing, pilot programs, and educator beta groups.
Collaborate with marketing and sales to define product messaging, materials, and training. Contribute to pricing, positioning, and segmentation strategies for robotics products. Align teams across the company to ensure smooth and successful product rollout.
Own the Lifecycle Track product performance using KPIs, user feedback, usage analytics, and community insights. Identify opportunities for enhancements, revisions, and long‐term product evolution. Support lifecycle decisions including margin reviews, pricing updates, and end‐of‐life planning. 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, ideally within robotics, embedded systems, or mechatronics.
Strong technical background with an understanding of robotics development—including motors, motion control, sensing, simulation, and firmware.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams: mechanical, electrical, firmware, software, UX, supply chain, marketing, and sales.
Strong grasp of full product lifecycle management: ideation, requirements, roadmap, release planning, and iteration. Data‐driven mindset with the ability to use user insights, experiments, and metrics to drive decisions. Excellent communication skills with both technical and non‐technical audiences.
Fluency in English (mandatory); proficiency in Italian is a strong plus.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in robotics, mechatronics, computer engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.
Premio Points
Experience with educational robotics platforms, robot kits, mobile robotics, or robotic manipulators. Familiarity with ROS/ROS2, simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, Webots), or robotics middleware.
Experience working with open‐source hardware or software communities. Knowledge of Arduino's hardware, software, and ecosystem.
Experience with electronic design tools (KiCad, Altium) and mechanical CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks). Curiosity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for exploring new robotics domains.
