We are looking for a Procurement Specialist, within the Purchasing department, who will report to the Global Procurement Manager at the Castelgomberto plant. Plan and coordinate the supply of materials and packs with different suppliers to cover requested productions according to MRP and consumptions, and considering the specific factors of every supplier. Daily follow up production and sourcing plan to ensure right stock and service level.

Also, considering contract levels negotiated by buyers. Coordination and collaboration with Scheduling and Production planning teams to follow up productions plans and risk assessments. Manage proper set ups in the system to ensure an efficient and optimal sourcing plan.

And place the PO’s in the system according to the alignments with suppliers. Supervise and validate invoices not automatically approved by the system due to price/quantity differences. In collaboration with the team,



identify and implement new initiatives on processes and tools to continuous improving and growing.

Assure a collaborative approach and fluid communication with the team, suppliers and the different departments involved in daily tasks (Purchasing, Sales&Op;, Production Planning, Logistics, Formulation, Quality…). Proven experience of two years in Procurement/Planning/Logistics.

Experience in the petfood, food or FMCG industry is highly valuable.

Knowledge of Planning principles: University degree. Specific courses on Procurement / Planning / Logistics appreciated. Fluent in Italian and English.

Experience working with SAP and good level in Excel.
