Hill International is looking for a Construction manager for one of our oil and gas projects based in Italy.The Construction Manager is responsible for the management, managerial oversight, administration, and coordination of the construction process from the conceptual development stage through final construction on timely and economical basis.Coordination of contractors on building projectSupervision of onsite QC / QA staffCoordinate with onsite owner's representativeResolve field issues in cooperation with A / ELead weekly progress and coordination meetingsSupport office staff with answering of correspondence and change order review Risk ManagementCommunications PlanIntegrated Schedule development and managementBaseline Management and Change ControlCoordination and integration of field activitiesCloseout and CommissioningBachelor Degree from an accredited universityWork experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning the university degreeCandidate needs to have significant O&G; experience both in onshore and offshore (platforms) projects as well as pipelines. It is important to have completed construction phase (onsite) projects and not only FEED stage (office based) of all of them.Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports.
