We’re looking for a Senior Quality & Problem-Solving Expert (Master Black Belt) to lead advanced reactive problem-solving across major automotive programs. The role drives structured methodologies such as Shainin Red X, Kepner-Tregoe, and Six Sigma to identify root causes, implement robust corrective actions, and strengthen continuous improvement culture across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.

Responsibilities

- Lead and facilitate complex problem-solving sessions (Shainin Red X, Kepner-Tregoe, 8D).
- Diagnose high-impact product and process issues to enable rapid, effective containment and permanent fixes.
- Coach and mentor engineering and quality teams on structured problem-solving techniques.
- Support root-cause activities across software, hardware, and manufacturing domains.
- Define, track, and verify corrective actions (closed-loop verification).
- Integrate lessons learned and design standards into preventive processes.




- Apply data-driven and statistical tools (SPC, DOE) when needed.
- Report outcomes and recommendations to management and global stakeholders.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with suppliers and internal teams to ensure robust quality improvements.

Qualifications

- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronic, Manufacturing, or related Engineering.
- Certified Master Black Belt (Shainin Red X / Kepner-Tregoe / Six Sigma) highly preferred.
- 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or product quality.
- Proven experience leading structured root-cause analysis and cross-functional corrective actions.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and statistical tools (SPC, DOE, PFMEA, Control Plans).
- Strong facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
- International experience and cross-cultural collaboration mindset.
- Fluent English; Italian or other European language is a plus.
