Engineering is seeking an ambitious and commercially astute Project Quantity Surveyor to join a flagship data centre project in Milan. You'll play a key role in managing the commercial performance of the project from early delivery stages through to final account, working alongside experienced commercial, operational and project delivery teams. This is a role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, influencing commercial outcomes and being part of a team delivering critical infrastructure at the highest level. • Long-term project stability and growth opportunities • The opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's best commercial and operational professionals The Role As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for maximising the commercial performance of the project while ensuring contractual obligations are effectively managed.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager and project delivery teams, you will oversee cost control, subcontractor management, valuations, forecasting, reporting and change management throughout the project lifecycle. This is a hands-on role where your commercial judgement, attention to detail and ability to build strong relationships will directly contribute to project success. Key Responsibilities • Manage commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account

• Prepare budgets, cost reports, forecasts, BOQs and profit plans • Produce accurate commercial reporting and provide detailed project updates to senior stakeholders • Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, payments and final accounts

• Ensure all subcontractor accounts are administered in accordance with agreed contractual terms • Prepare and submit interim valuations, applications for payment and final account submissions • Manage remeasurement activities, variations, compensation events, dayworks and change orders

• Identify and commercially manage project change throughout the construction lifecycle • Monitor labour and material cost movements and identify potential commercial impacts • Support contract administration and ensure compliance with client requirements





• Work closely with planning and project teams to ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting • Maintain accurate cost records and commercial documentation • Identify commercial risks and ensure they are escalated appropriately with recommended mitigation strategies

• Support negotiations with clients, consultants and subcontractors as required • Assist in driving cash flow performance and commercial outcomes across the project • Contribute to project reviews, forecasting exercises and commercial strategy discussions What We're Looking For

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Project Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering, MEP or data centre environments • Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial management processes

• Experience managing subcontractor accounts and payment applications • Knowledge of variations, claims, final accounts and change management procedures • Strong commercial awareness and financial acumen

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a project team • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Experience on large-scale data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or mission-critical projects would be highly advantageous What's on Offer
