**Responsibilities**: - Calibrate and validate both the supply and demand models using advanced techniques.
- Produce travel demand forecasts for all transport modes.
- Forecast the impact of transport improvements, policy changes and environmental changes on traffic patterns and volumes.
- Provide modelling expertise for multi-criteria analyses of infrastructure projects.
- Design and supervise appropriate traffic and transportation data collection, including the design and testing of Stated Preference (SP) surveys.
- Coordinate project details with senior management, acting as project manager for department-led initiatives.
- Manage projects within the department and provide technical support to other departments, area offices, and project sites as needed. **Requirements**: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.




- A minimum of 3 years of experience in transport modelling tasks and proficiency in area-wide transport modelling software such as VISUM, EMME, CUBE, and TransCad are required.
- Proficiency in micro-simulation modelling tools such as VISSIM, AIMSUN, and Paramics.
- Familiarity with specialist junction assessment software such as SYNCHRO, SIDRA, and HCS preferred.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate project details and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and mentor junior staff.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
