Contract: Full-time, Permanent We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain & Sourcing Specialist to define and execute sourcing and supply chain strategies for the components and subsystems of our next-generation robotic platforms. Working across Engineering, Supplier Development, Purchasing, Program Management, and Operations, you will help build a competitive, resilient, and scalable supply chain capable of supporting product development and production growth. You will support the product lifecycle from early development through production ramp-up, ensuring supplier readiness, material availability, and long‐term supply chain performance.
Responsibilities Collaborate with Engineering and Program Management teams to define sourcing strategies for new components and subsystems
- Identify, assess, and select strategic suppliers, supporting make‐versus‐buy decisions and supplier sourcing strategies
- Analyze supplier capabilities, market trends, production capacity, lead times, and supply chain constraints
- Support RFQ, RFI, supplier evaluation, and sourcing activities for NPI programs
- Drive cost analysis, benchmarking, and cost reduction initiatives in collaboration with Purchasing teams
- Assess supply chain risks and define mitigation strategies to improve resilience and business continuity
- Monitor sourcing and supply chain performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent background; 3-5 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Supply Chain, Commodity Management, Procurement Engineering, or similar roles;
Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) programs in automotive, robotics, aerospace,
e‐mobility, or other high‐tech manufacturing environments;
Experience managing global suppliers and complex technology‐driven supply chains
- Knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier selection, make‐versus‐buy analysis, cost analysis, and supply chain planning;
Experience with capacity planning, inventory management, logistics planning, and supply chain risk assessment
- Familiarity with commodity management, TCO analysis, cost engineering, S&OP;, IBP, and Lean Supply Chain methodologies;
Experience with ERP systems, SAP, PLM, Excel, Power BI, or similar supply chain tools
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication skills in international and cross‐functional environments;
Experience within automotive, robotics, aerospace, or other advanced manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with supply chain analytics, inventory optimization, and cost engineering methodologies;
Experience supporting industrial ramp‐ups, supplier development, or supply chain scaling initiatives
