JHC Consulting is seeking a Junior Analytics Analyst to support our advisory work for a prominent client. Our partner is a leading Italian group currently navigating complex questions regarding their long term strategy and internal governance. In this role, you will assist our principals in scrutinizing the data that underpins their corporate narrative.

We operate on the principle that writing is thinking, and we do not use presentation decks to convey our findings. Instead, we produce rigorous written memoranda that provide a dissenting read of internal corporate cases. This is a tempo pieno, permanent position and is conducted entirely in a remote capacity, allowing you to work from wherever you are most productive.

The Role

As a Junior Analytics Analyst, your primary task is to translate raw data into clear, written arguments. You will not spend your time building aesthetic dashboards or participating in long, unproductive meetings. Instead, your daily work involves the deep reading of internal reports and the interrogation of datasets to find gaps or contradictions. You will be responsible for the following:

- Reviewing financial and operational datasets provided by our Italian partner to verify the accuracy of their internal claims.

- Drafting clear, concise summaries of your findings that will be integrated into formal memoranda for board level committees.

- Conducting basic statistical analysis to identify trends or outliers that the client's internal teams may have overlooked.

- Ensuring every data point used in our reports can be traced back to a specific, verifiable assumption.

- Assisting principals in the revision process, where we refine our written arguments until they are beyond reproach.





- Maintaining a disciplined record of all data sources and analytical methods used during a mandate.

What You Bring

We are looking for an individual who possesses intellectual maturity and a high degree of comfort with both numbers and the written word. This is an entry level role, so we do not expect a long professional history. We do, however, expect a high standard of personal discipline and a willingness to learn our specific methods of inquiry. You should have:

- Basic proficiency in data tools such as Excel or SQL, gained through university projects, internships, or personal study.

- The ability to write clear, grammatical English prose that avoids jargon and gets straight to the point.

- A skeptical mind that naturally questions the validity of a number before accepting it as a fact.

- The capacity to work independently in a remote setting without the need for constant supervision.

- An interest in corporate governance, strategy, or finance, particularly in the context of large European enterprises.

- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple streams of information for a single mandate.
