Rails Developer at BairesDev

As a Rails Developer, you will build and scale monolithic and modular Rails applications, specializing in high-performance backend systems. You will connect complex business logic with robust database architectures, ensuring that web platforms remain maintainable and scalable as they grow.

What You'll Do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and MVC architecture.
- Optimize relational database performance using ActiveRecord, query tuning,



and indexing strategies.
- Develop and integrate comprehensive REST APIs and third-party services into the Rails ecosystem.
- Implement background job processing and asynchronous workflows using Sidekiq or Resque.
- Create and maintain automated test suites using RSpec to ensure code reliability and quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into elegant software solutions.

What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on Ruby on Rails.
- Proven expertise in building and scaling monolithic and modular Rails applications.
- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL, ActiveRecord, and database optimization.
- Hands-on experience with background processing using Sidekiq or Resque.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs and deployment on AWS infrastructure.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
