You will work for Annax, a Wabtec business unit specialized in passenger information systems for long and short distance trains, trams and subways.
There is a growing development team in Piossasco, dedicated to strengthening the portfolio of tram and commuter train projects collaborating closely with other teams in Switzerland and China.
As a Software Development Technical Team Leader , you will be responsible for planning, coordination and technical guidance of the Software activities distributed over different sites. Additionally, you will be involved in the implementation and configuration of real time audio streaming features, IP network configurations and protocols, devices diagnostics, compatibility to 3rd party devices and cyber security requirements.
Coordinate and technical support of a team involved in multiple projects (not hierarchical management)
Configuration and implementation of features in the context of a project
Develop, test and document your code
Configure and integrate ANNAX software and Linux services
Apply cyber security rules
Evaluate and elaborate new technologies
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar
Professional knowledge of Linux, Embedded Linux, IP networks
C++, scripting languages (bash, python), Unit Testing, UML
Administration of code with git, gitlab
Professional English
Works well independently
Excited about distributed systems and having fun with them
Available to travel occasionally
