The Role

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Correctional Primary Health Services (ANUM - CPHS) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:

- Works in partnership with the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) and/or Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
- Assists the ADON and/or CNC with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow.

Details of Appointment

Fixed term tempo pieno, shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing 12 October 2026 until 11 October 2027. Please note that hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant

Classification

Registered Nurse Grade 5

Salary

$109,767 - $115,813 per annum (pro rata) + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging

- Salary range is in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse
