Responsibilities
You will ensure quality from suppliers for all production material groups used in Vestas Taranto site. The responsibilities are for NCR handling, analyzing and approve RCA provided by suppliers and Corrective Action implementation at supplier location. Driver down Cost of Poor Quality is important part of this position. Interface internally to the Regional and Global SQ&D;, sourcing and logistics as well as external customers.
Qualifications
You have an engineering or material science background as well as proficiency in applying advanced quality methodology. Solid working experience with demonstrated quality management and problem-solving skills can replace the need for a formal education. Experience in Wind business will be big advantage.
Competencies
To perform well in this position, it is important that you are results-oriented and have good communication and collaboration skills enabling you to collaborate internally and work with suppliers.
We expect that you:
- Have at least 3 years of experience within quality assurance and supplier management
- Are an internal auditor ISO 1:5 and/or assessor for VDA 6.3
- Experience with ISO / or similar standard for EHS Management Systems is desired.
- Are a Six Sigma Green Belt with Continuous improvement and DMAIC practice
- Have experience with stakeholder management as well as sound business understanding
- Collaborate effectively and perform well in a diverse, global work environment
- Are fluent in spoken and written English
