RINA is currently recruiting for a Building Architecture and Sustainability Architect to join its office in Genoa within the Civil Engineering Division.​Mission
The Architect leads the design and execution of complex building projects, with a focus on sustainability, building physics, and engineering integration. The role combines creative architectural vision with technical performance, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of functionality, aesthetics, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility. The Architect would lead technical delivery for local and International (India/Middle East) projects.Key Accountabilities
Architectural Design Leadership:

Lead the development of innovative and sustainable architectural solutions aligned with client needs, technical constraints, and regulatory requirements with the adaptation of global concept to local standards.

Project Management:

Define project scope, schedules, and deliverables in collaboration with engineering project management teams and stakeholders. Monitor progress across all project phases;




coordination with local consultants and contractors and time/cost control.

Building Physics & Performance Integration:

Collaborate with specialists in building physics to embed energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and environmental quality into design solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure architectural plans and specifications comply with local and international building codes, zoning laws, and sustainability certifications.

Team Leadership & Mentorship:

Guide junior architects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, MEP, sustainability consultants) to ensure project cohesion.

Construction Oversight:

Support site supervision activities, ensuring design intent is preserved during execution and resolving technical/design-related challenges.
