ph3Position Summary /h3 pThe Process Manufacturing Engineer II is responsible for managing all aspects of facility infrastructure and maintenance operations within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the reliability and efficiency of building systems, utilities, and production equipment while leading the maintenance team to deliver high performance and minimize downtime. The position also oversees compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in alignment with EHS guidelines, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support operational excellence and sustainability goals. /p h3Duties /h3 ul liLead, coach, and develop the maintenance team to ensure high performance and technical expertise. /li liAssign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. /li liSupervise, plan, and administer department activities providing a safe work environment. /li liOversee the maintenance and repair of facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural components. Ensure optimal performance of utilities and building infrastructure. /li liDevelop, implement, and drive a maintenance plan program to meet operational requirements focused on minimizing downtime in production. Manage the maintenance and repairs of plant equipment such as waste water treatment, filling lines, osmosis systems, printing equipment, utility systems, air handling systems etc. /li liPlan PMs, rectify production breakdowns and follow inspection routines according to SOP and schedule. /li liEnsure that all records of repair are documented.
/li liPlan and execute facility improvement projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment installations. /li liCoordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. /li liEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to building codes, safety, and environmental standards, in agreement with EHS Manager evaluation. /li liPrepare and manage facility budgets, track expenses, and report on cost-saving initiatives. /li liMaintain accurate documentation of facility operations, maintenance schedules, and project progress. /li liIdentify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and sustainability within the facility. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor's Degree in Engineering General /p h3Required Experience /h3 ul liProven experience in facility and maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment. /li liProven experience in team leadership and project management. /li liExperience with Capital Improvement projects. /li liExperience with regulations and compliance with EPA, OSHA, FDA, and MDSAP. /li liSolid experience in technical problem solving. /li liExperience in LEAN Methodologies. /li liExperience managing a maintenance team. /li liLeadership and team development skills. /li liStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities. /li liAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. /li liEffective communication and collaboration skills. /li liFluent English speaking. /li /ul pSTERIS strives to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
