The successful candidate will support complex contaminated site projects with a strong emphasis on technical excellence, delivering high?quality characterisation, risk assessment, modelling and remediation studies.
/p pThe role requires solid hands?on experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously on technically advanced tasks.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liEnvironmental Characterisation Assessment /li liDevelop and execute bcharacterization plans /b for all environmental matrices, including soil, groundwater, surface water, soil gas and ambient air.
/li liPerform bHuman Health and Environmental Risk Assessments /b in accordance with Italian regulations and international guidelines.
/li liPrepare bRemediation Plans /b, including technology screening, feasibility assessment and conceptual design.
/li liConduct bstatistical analyses /b and apply advanced tools for dataset evaluation.
/li /ul h3Specialised Technical Activities /h3 ul liManage sites impacted by bNon-Aqueous Phase Liquids (NAPLs) /b.
/li liContribute to benvironmental forensics /b projects, including advanced methods such as CSIA, passive soil gas sampling, MIP and other diagnostic tools.
/li liTechnical Documentation Client Interaction /li liPrepare high?quality technical reports and presentations for clients and authorities.
/li liManage relationships with bAuthorities, Clients and Contractors /b, ensuring excellent communication and reliability.
/li liParticipate actively in ERM technical communities and share best practices.




/li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 h3Technical Competence /h3 ul liProven experience performing site characterisation, risk assessment, and remediation?related tasks autonomously.
/li liStrong knowledge of bEnvironmental Regulations /b, including Legislative Decree bD.Lgs.
****** /b, and familiarity with Italian and international guidelines (e.g., ASTM, USEPA, ITRC).
/li liProficiency with technical software relevant to contaminated sites work (e.g., Surfer, bRisknet /b, bProUCL /b).

/li liProven ability to work both autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams.
/li liStrong communication skills and confidence in interacting with technical and non?technical stakeholders.
