ph3Senior Forestry Officer (Forest Biodiversity and Drylands) /h3pIn this role you will provide leadership and technical expertise to advance biodiversity and sustainable management of forests and drylands within multifunctional landscapes. You will support the FAO Strategic Framework through cross-divisional programmes, policy advice, and capacity development with Members and Decentralized Offices. You will drive evidence-based approaches, develop tools and frameworks, and represent FAO in international forums. This is a mission-driven position that shapes biodiversity mainstreaming and sustainable land management at global and national levels. /pulliProvide technical leadership and coordination for biodiversity mainstreaming in forestry and drylands across projects and cross-divisional initiatives /liliAnalyze global and country needs to inform FAO Strategy, Programme of Work, budgets and resource plans /liliDevelop and monitor innovative tools, methodologies, and monitoring/reporting frameworks for program implementation /liliConduct and oversee research to support technical standards, international instruments,
