Coesia operates in 34 countries with 21 different companies and employs over 8,000 people as of 2026. /ph3About the Role : /h3pAs a bSystem Engineer /b, you will be part of an engineering team based in Bologna and will initially collaborate with our RD team in Sweden to gain in-depth knowledge of our solutions. /ppUltimately, you will be responsible for driving the execution of advanced material-handling robotic technologies in Sicily. /ppIn this role, you will be the key interface between the customer and the engineering team, taking the lead in troubleshooting, system startup, and issue resolution. You will collaborate with RD teams to ensure that customer feedback is effectively integrated into the system, driving continuous improvement and performance optimization. /ppAs a System Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that the system is fully defined, coherent, compliant, and ready for acceptance at system level.
/ppYou act as the engineering authority on system definition and maturity, maintaining alignment between requirements, architecture, design, testing, and contractual commitments. /ppThe role requires a strong holistic understanding of complex automation systems and the ability to ensure consistency across all technical domains and project phases. /ppMain responsibilities will include: /pulliSupervise the deployment of systems at customer sites, ensuring proper installation, testing, functionality, and user training to guarantee seamless operation; /liliProvide advanced technical support to customers, addressing and resolving complex hardware, software, and control system issues both on-site and remotely; /liliTroubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, collaborating with RD engineers to identify root causes and implement effective solutions; /liliEnsure that all technical support documentation is up-to-date, organized, and accessible for both internal teams and customer use; /liliMonitor system performance using diagnostic tools and software, implementing preventative measures to improve reliability and minimize downtime; /liliIdentify opportunities for system optimization and improvement, contributing to the enhancement of both current and future systems; /liliOwn and maintain system-level documentation, architecture, and configuration, ensuring full alignment between design, implementation, and as-built system; /liliEnsure complete traceability between requirements, design, testing, FMEA, and acceptance criteria, guaranteeing that all requirements are covered, risks are identified and mitigated, and evidence is available; /liliOwn system-level compliance,
certifications, and quality documentation, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and contractual requirements; /liliDefine, monitor, and follow up system validation activities (rig testing, FAT, site validation) to ensure coverage of requirements, alignment with acceptance criteria, and proper documentation of results; /liliMaintain a clear and structured view of system maturity and readiness, identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and risks and driving their resolution before customer acceptance; /liliEnsure that all required evidence for customer acceptance (including test reports, certificates, manuals, and validation records) is complete, consistent, and properly consolidated. /li /ulh3What you need to be successful: /h3ulliBachelor’s Degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, and at least 5 years of relevant professional work experience /liliStrong understanding of system engineering principles, robotics, and automation technologies /liliFluency in the English language, both written and spoken /liliHigh availability to travel /liliStrong attention to detail and well-structured approach /liliInterest in industrial production and desire to learn about new technologies /liliAbility to work independently and collaboratively /li /ulh3Our Offer /h3pCompensation for this role includes a base salary starting from EUR 44.400, in line with experience.
