Bridgestone and its subsidiaries develop, manufacture and market a wide range of Bridgestone, Firestone and associate brand products and solutions to address the needs of a broad range of customers and industries. /p h3ABOUT THE ROLE /h3 pbJob Title /b /p pSupplier Quality Management Engineer /p pbAbout the Role /b /p pbJob Purpose /b /p pYou will be a part of Bridgestone’s planning, organizing, directing, and reporting on supplier provided raw materials as an output of their process, designed/manufactured goods, and packaging materials to ensure they meet or exceed requirements set by our cross functional team including technical area, manufacturing, procurement, plants, and plant processing and engineering groups. /p pbPlease note that the position is offered under a fixed-term contract. /b /p pbResponsibilities: /b /p ul liVerify and validate that suppliers and/or subcontractors have received engineering, manufacturing, and quality requirements. /li liMonitoring quality control activities and systems at supplier and subcontractor facilities,
as well as an output of their process capabilities at their facilities impacting our raw material products. /li liEnsuring programs are in place to improve supplier performance and productivity /li liReviewing and analyzing corrective action reports to reduce/eliminate defects. May perform deviation investigations into quality issues. /li /ul pbQualifications Experience Required /b /p pbEducation, Master, other certification: /b /p ul liBachelor of Art or Bachelor of Science /li liBS in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics Field preferred /li liISO or IATF Lead auditor certification preferred with preference to VDA certification. /li /ul pbExperience (years): /b /p ul li1-5 years in quality, science and engineering, or manufacturing environment. /li /ul pbTechnical Skills: /b /p ul liAuditing capability /li liQuality tools education, problem solving methodology /li liManufacturing experience in process and/or materials /li /ul pbLanguages Skills: /b /p ul liMust: Italian English proficient requirements. Other languages also recognized. /li /ul pbSoft/Behavioral Skills: /b /p ul liTeam collaboration Cross Functional Partnership /li liFast learner with adaptability /li /ul pThe salary range is based on gender-neutral criteria: applicable CCNL requirements, responsibilities,
