ppWe are looking for a bMaterials Scientist /b to work on mid- to long-term innovation projects, contributing to the development of new materials, processes, and technologies. /p pThe role involves working on both internal strategic initiatives and externally funded projects (e.g. Horizon Europe), collaborating with cross-functional and international teams. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liWork on innovation projects, with a specific focus on ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget in collaboration with a manager /li liDevelop project plans, define milestones in collaboration with the manager, and proactively manage risks /li liSupport feasibility studies, prototyping, and validation of innovative concepts using a “fast fail” approach /li liPrepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and external funding bodies /li liCollaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams to align standards and best practices /li liMonitor and evaluate emerging technologies, supporting their integration into products and processes /li liContribute to the continuous improvement of materials, technologies, and manufacturing approaches /li /ul h3Education Experience /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or similar /li liA minimum of 3 years of experience in Research Development in the manufacturing industry /li /ul h3Preferred Knowledge (nice to have)
