We are looking for an intern to join our Electrification business. You will execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods. You will follow and ensure that others also follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record and dispatch goods in the warehouse. **This position reports to**:
Warehouse/Internal Logistics Manager **Your responsibilities**: - Participate to specific Logistic improvement projects in team with ABB+Third Party Logistics (3PL)+forwarders.
- Collaborate to study and implement 3PL & Forwarders process improvement plans.
- Verify KPIs issued by 3PL and Forwarders.
- Interface with 3PL and Forwarders.
- Collaborate to verify that all relevant processes for WH management are in place, controlled and documented (inbound, outbound, storage, stock optimization, picking, packing, counting, etc.).
- Develop effective relationships with RDC Team, 3PL and Forwarders. **Your background**: - Degree in business/logistics management or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable in logistics operations such as inventory management, process re-engineering as well as measurement and analysis of total supply chain costs.
- Knowledge on OHS regulations will be preferred.
- Good negotiation skill.
- Strong analytical skills in both operational and financial matters.
- Advance Excel skill preferred.
- Stress-tolerant, good communication skills, result-oriented.
- Fluent spoken and written English is preferred. Fluent Italian mandatory. **More about us**:
