Reporting to the IT Operations Lead, our recently launched Luxury Cruises line of MSC, the IT Systems Engineering Specialist will be involved in building out, maintaining, and troubleshooting our rapidly expanding IT infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of availability, performance, and security.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position with experience supporting the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructures/systems and users;
- Experience with Cloud Operations;
- Experience with Application and Infrastructure monitoring;
- Proven experience in cruises industry is required;
- Fluent in English, oral and written. Any other language is an advantage;
- Excellent analytical skills, methodical mindset, and attention to details.
- Guarantee of technical quality in IT operations projects;
- Management and monitoring of all installed systems and infrastructure for Explora Journeys, considering established guidelines or SOP (standard operating procedure);
- Assurance of systems and infrastructure availability at the highest levels;
- Relay of Cybersecurity for management of threats and vulnerabilities remediations;
- Collaboration with team members (operations, architecture, product owners), suppliers, and Business stakeholders with a focus on continuous improvement;
