**Job Announcement** **Position**: Repair Technician - Electronic Repairs
**Location**: Genova, Italy An Italian branch of a Swiss group is seeking a motivated **Electronic Repair Technician** to perform repair and support activities on vending machines, electronic components, and control systems. The **Repair Technician** will be responsible for: - Diagnosing malfunctions and conducting component
- or board-level repairs.
- Managing after-sales and repair activities using the internal ERP system. **Requirements**: - Solid understanding of electronics, including recognition of common electronic components and their functions.
- Previous experience in a similar role (preferred) or relevant certifications in electronics repair.
- Proven skills in fault finding and diagnosis.
- Strong manual soldering skills.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering stations).
- Experience with ERP software for managing after-sales services is a plus. **Duties and Responsibilities**
- Verify warranty conditions using the ERP system based on the serial number of returned parts.
- Diagnose malfunctions and identify faults in electronic components.
- Perform manual soldering and component-level repairs.
- Refurbish and configure parts according to customer specifications.
- Conduct tests to validate functionality and ensure quality.
- Document troubleshooting, repairs, and service activities in the ERP system to ensure traceability.
- Provide repair cost estimations based on ERP codes and materials used.
- Prepare and package repaired items for return to customers.
- Report completed after-sales cases to the team leader and update dashboards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide backup for back-office tasks, including: - Entering new customer orders.




- Recording after-sales service entries in the ERP system and managing associated RMAs. **Preferred Skills and Competencies**

- **Technical Skills**: Strong electronics, mechanics, and IT knowledge.
