**Areas of Responsibility**:
Purpose of the position:
Evaluate and define optimal strategies, processes, and systems for plant management and maintenance to ensure maximum economic and productive efficiency. Conduct technical and economic assessments for acquisitions, asset upgrades and improvement, strategic projects, and plant lifecycle extension. Key responsibilities: - Perform analysis of maintenance and management strategies (make-or-buy analysis) through technical and economic sustainability assessments (evaluating the impact of strategies on costs, performance, technical feasibility, etc.) to support the group’s strategic decision-making.
- Support Procurement Department in negotiating components for new plants (Wind, Solar, and other technologies) and O&M; Agreements for new and existing plants in alignment with defined O&M; strategies.
- Manage and coordinate technical due diligence for new assets or development projects, including technical assessments, integration of operational strategies within the Group perimeter, OPEX profile, CAPEX profile for O&M;, useful life expectancy, and availability profile
- Conduct technical and economic feasibility assessments to support plant lifetime extension. Define strategies, processes, and systems for efficient management and maintenance of plants beyond turbine Type Certificate expiration. Coordinate involved organizational units to establish and update technical and economic sustainability parameters for each plant. Manage and oversee the budget for all Lifetime Extension activities to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.
- Identify and conduct technical and economic feasibility assessments, in collaboration with other involved organizational units, for new technologies and/or upgrades to operational assets aimed at increasing production efficiency and/or cost optimization. **Studies**:
University degree in engineering (preferably Mechanical or Electrical).
**Work Experience**:
At least 2 years experienced in Renewables Energy sector.
**Languages**: - Professional / fluent English (written and oral).
- Knowledge of additional languages will be considered a plus. **IT Skills**: - Excellent in MS Office tools (in particular Excel and Power Point)
- Knowledge of SAP ERP would be a plus
- Knowledge of Power BI would be a plus
- Knowledge of SCADA Data systems would be a plus
- Knowledge of programming skills (e.g. Pyton) will be considered a plus. **Know - How & Managerial Skills**: - Wind Farms and Solar power plants lay-out, functioning and components (mechanical and electrical)
- Knowledge of basic Wind and Solar resources assessment methodologies
- Lifetime extension process and specific regulations
- Basic Financial Knowledge would be a plus
- Willingness to work in an international team / organization
- Confidence in communicating with external stakeholders (e.g. authorities, municipalities, contractors ) **Additional Information**:
