About the role
We're looking for a hands-on, curious and slightly unconventional person to join our team and help operate autonomous robots in real-world environments.
This is a 20–30 hour/week, on-site role in Rome for someone who loves technology, enjoys solving problems and isn't discouraged when things don't work the first time.
You don't need to be a robotics engineer. We care more about curiosity, resourcefulness, attention to detail and the ability to figure things out.
What you'll do
Operate and support autonomous robots in real-world environments
Monitor robot performance and identify issues
Collect observations and operational data
Troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
Provide clear feedback to robotics and AI engineers
Help test and improve new robot capabilities
Who we're looking for
You're probably a good fit if you:
Are genuinely curious about robots, AI and emerging technology
Enjoy figuring out how things work
Don't freeze when something unexpected happens
Are hands-on, reliable and detail-oriented
Learn quickly and communicate clearly
Are comfortable working independently
Are available to work weekends — this is a must
Robotics, engineering, IT, technical operations or STEM experience is a plus, but not required.
The important part
This job is for professional nutters who believe in the impossible.
We're building technology that puts robots into environments traditionally operated by humans. Things won't always work perfectly. You'll encounter problems that don't have a Googleable answer.
If your reaction to “that's impossible” is “let's see”, you might be exactly who we're looking for.
Location: Rome, Italy
Type: Tempo parziale, on-site
Hours: 20–30 hours/week
Weekend availability: Required
