Accountant at Kairos
Position Overview: Kairos Accounting, a forward-thinking and client-focused accounting firm, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role involves playing a crucial part in our accounting operations, providing accurate financial information to management, and ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and in compliance with legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, ensuring all accounting transactions are recorded promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Tax Preparation and Filing: Assist in preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting processes.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and accounts to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Client Consultation:



Provide financial advice and consultation to clients, helping them understand their financial position and plan for the future.
- Compliance and Auditing: Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations, and assist in internal and external auditing processes.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance financial procedures and efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
