RINA is currently recruiting for a Hardware Design Engineer to join its office in Rome within the Electronics and System Engineering Division.​Mission
The role has strong electronic background and focuses on contributing to preparing detailed project documentation, technical proposal, and participating in technical reviews with customers. Key Accountabilities

Documentation:

Prepare comprehensive project documentation based on RTCA DO-254 lifecycle, including technical data packages, production packages, test requirements and test procedures;
ensure all documentation meets industry standards and customer requirements;
prepare technical proposals based on client technical specifications, gathering all the necessary information autonomously.

Hardware design:

Design of electronic boards;
validate design performance and reliability, integration and testing activities;
address customer enquiries and use the feedback to improve the documentation and the design.

Education
Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic/TLC EngineeringQualifications





A positive evaluation is given to a minimal amount of experience in technical documentation and hardware design, especially in aerospace applications;
good knowledge and understanding of RTCA DO-254;
proficiency in designing electronic boards;
(optional) experience in FPGA synthesis (Verilog, VHDL) and FPGA simulation (ModelSim, VCS) is positively evaluated.
