ppDecisionBrain develops custom decision‑support applications for various clients. While each solution is unique, they share common architectural traits: /p ul liWeb-based applications with a bmicroservice architecture /b /li liDeployment on various bKubernetes environments /b /li liBuilt using bDB Gene /b, our proprietary platform that we use to accelerate the development of decision‑support applications /li liBuilt and packaged using a bContinuous Integration /b toolchain /li /ul pYour team is in charge of deploying our applications to Kubernetes environments, monitoring them, investigating issues, qualifying them, and implementing a fix if the issue is within your scope. It works in close collaboration both with the teams responsible for project development and with the team responsible for the IT infrastructure. As a client‑facing team, your mission is to ensure that we respect our SLAs and, beyond that, to contribute actively to customer success. /p h3Role /h3 pAs a bDevOps Engineer /b, you will play a crucial role in the company’s ability to deliver its software projects. Furthermore, the recent progress in AI tools opens the door to ubiquitous automation of processes, which in turn relies heavily on DevOps tooling. /p pOur DevOps toolchain includes the following, where alternatives are either currently or potentially investigated for almost all elements: /p ul liBuild scripts that rely on bGradle /b (currently at version 9), with a significant library of plugins developed in-house /li liContinuous integration pipelines running on self-hosted bGitlab /b workers /li liArtefacts in several formats (PyPi, Maven2, NPM, Docker, etc.) stored in bNexus /b repositories /li liProjects deployed to Kubernetes using bHelm /b charts /li /ul pYour mission will consist in enhancing the above toolchain both to make it more robust, for example by investigating emerging technologies and products; and to extend its scope to the needs of the company, from software delivery to security, and more generally the automation of processes. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pAs mentioned above, your role is connected to all technical teams in the company. With this in mind, and under the supervision of the Lead Engineer of the team, you will be responsible for:
/p ul liMaintaining the CI tool chain of the projects that we develop for our customers /li liEvolving this CI to incorporate specificities of project and evolutions brought by the Platform /li liWorking with the Platform team on their specific CI tool chain, gradually taking the ownership of this CI /li liEvolving all CI tool chains to incorporate new company-wide evolutions around security, deployments, and more generally automations /li liWhen relevant, propose options for, and implement upstream or downstream components, such as reorganization of Nexus servers, or an NVD cache /li /ul pbYour daily tasks will include: /b /p ul liProviding L2 internal support on CI problems /li liSpecifying, designing, planning, and implementing components of the software production, validation, and release processes of the company /li liParticipate in design sessions with members of your team and of other teams /li liInvestigate new technologies and evolutions of our DevOps ecosystem /li /ul h3Required Skills Qualifications /h3 pbEducation Experience /b /p pBachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field. /p pExpected work experience: 1-3 years. /p pbTechnical Skills /b /p ul libKnowledge of Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes /b: Deployment management, Helm charts, command-line usage (kubectl). /li libExperience with build tools /b such as Gradle. /li libExperience with versioning /b (Git) and bCI tools /b such as GitLab, GitHub, BitBucket, etc. /li libA plus /b: familiarity with Nexus, Jira, Confluence, or similar tools. /li libSome experience with coding agents /b such as Claude Code, Codex, or similar is appreciated, though a demonstrated ability to work without them is required. /li /ul pbPersonal Skills /b /p ul libProblem‑solving mindset /b: Ability to troubleshoot issues methodically and document solutions.
