Job Title: Anaplan Solutions Architect

Location: Italy

Henderson Drake is partnering with a growing technology business to find an experienced Anaplan Solutions Architect to take ownership of solution design, architecture, and delivery across a complex and evolving planning landscape.

This role sits at the intersection of business requirements and technical delivery. The expectation is that you can move comfortably between stakeholder conversations and hands-on architecture decisions, translating complex planning and performance management requirements into Anaplan solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and genuinely fit for purpose.

You will play a central role in establishing how Anaplan is architected and governed across the business, setting the standards that model builders and delivery teams work within, and ensuring the platform evolves in line with the organisation's broader technology strategy.

What you will be doing

- Own the end-to-end architecture and design of Anaplan solutions across the business
- Translate complex business requirements into scalable, efficient, and maintainable Anaplan models
- Lead solution design across FP&A;, financial planning, forecasting, workforce planning, sales planning, and operational planning
- Establish and maintain Anaplan architecture standards, design principles, and development best practices
- Design model structures, data flows, integrations, and user experiences
- Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand processes, challenges,



and future requirements
- Produce clear solution documentation and architecture artefacts throughout delivery
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on guidance to model builders and delivery teams
- Drive ongoing optimisation of existing Anaplan solutions to ensure long-term performance and usability

What you will bring

- Proven experience as an Anaplan Solutions Architect or senior Anaplan model builder
- Deep understanding of Anaplan architecture, including model design, data integration, and platform governance
- Experience leading solution design across planning use cases such as FP&A;, workforce planning, and sales planning
- The ability to engage business stakeholders confidently and translate their requirements into technical solutions
- A track record of establishing best practices and architectural standards within an Anaplan environment
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Anaplan certification is an advantage
