Senior Art Director sloggi (f/m/d) (100%)
Based in Milan and reporting to the Global Head of Brand Content and Creative Director, this role sits at the centre of sloggi’s visual output. You will work day-to-day on the development, execution of content and campaigns, shoots, and brand moments across all channels, bringing the brand’s visual handwriting to life with precision, consistency, and genuine creative ambition. You will manage 1 direct report (Junior Art Director) and collaborate closely with the Global Brand Lead, sloggi and the wider Global Brand Creative team, including the Triumph brand counterpart.
This position is hybrid, with 2 mandatory days at our office in Milan.
What You’ll do:
- Lead the art direction and execution of shoots, campaigns, and brand moments, working in-house or in collaboration with agencies and freelancers, under the creative direction of the Creative Director
- Develop visual concepts and manage the process through to final asset delivery, ensuring the work stays true to the original intent at every stage
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of sloggi’s visual identity, bringing a distinct and refined creative sensibility to all brand expressions in collaboration with the Creative Director
- Brief and direct photographers, stylists, and production teams on set, ensuring the creative vision is upheld throughout, from pre-production planning through to final asset delivery
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to keep projects on track and on brief
- Maintain a strong and current network of creative talent, photographers, directors, stylists, bringing the right collaborators to each project
- Ensure visual quality and coherence across all assets, from campaign hero imagery to ecom and social formats, acting as guardian of the brand handwriting
- Review and sign off assets at production level, ensuring every deliverable feels unmistakably sloggi
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of visual guidelines and asset frameworks,
flagging any inconsistencies or evolution needs to the Creative Director
- Work closely with marketing, product, and agency partners to ensure creative integrity is maintained at every touchpoint, translating briefs into compelling visual outputs that serve both brand and commercial objectives
- Act as a reliable creative partner to the Global Brand Lead sloggi, ensuring brand and content strategy are visually expressed with precision and ambition
- Collaborate with the sloggi Art Director and wider Global Brand team to maintain coherence across the portfolio while preserving each brand’s distinct identity
- Actively integrate AI-powered creative tools and workflows into content development, driving efficiency, increasing output quality, and contributing to the upskilling of the wider creative team
- Bring well-developed proposals for new creative production approaches to the Creative Director, constantly exploring smarter and faster ways to produce without compromising creative quality
- Stay ahead of emerging tools, visual trends, and platform behaviours, bringing relevant recommendations to the team on a regular basis
- Day-to-day management and development of 4 direct reports, providing clear direction, constructive feedback, and ongoing support to build their creative capability
What You’ll bring:
- 10+ years of experience in art direction, agency side, brand side, or both
- Proven track record in building a cohesive brand across campaigns, shoots, and multi-channel brand content
- Experienced directing creative talent on set: photographers, stylists, directors
- Strong network across production, photography, and styling
- Experienced managing and mentoring junior creatives.
- Fluent in AI-powered creative tools
- Asian heritage or proven experience creating for Asian markets is a strong advantage
- Background in photography is a plus
- Degree in Art Direction, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience
- Based in Milan
- Fluent in English; additional languages welcome
- Availability to travel for shoots and brand moments
- Sharp visual sensibility with a strong personal aesthetic and genuine passion for fashion and design
- Comfortable working within a defined creative direction while contributing meaningfully to its evolution
- Collaborative by nature, opinionated by conviction
- Structured and calm under pressure,
with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Genuinely curious about the future of marketing and creative production
