Italian AI Labeling & Evaluation Agent — Relocate to Portugal - Start date 27th August 2026

Are you highly proficient in Italian and looking for an international role that combines life in Portugal with practical experience in the growing AI sector?

We are recruiting Italian AI Labeling & Evaluation Agents to review, assess and improve AI-generated content. You will evaluate chatbot responses, identify errors, label data, rank outputs and apply detailed quality guidelines that help make AI models more accurate, reliable and useful.

This is a specialist language and quality role, offering hands-on exposure to Generative AI, Large Language Models, AI annotation, content quality and structured evaluation. It is an excellent opportunity to build relevant experience for future careers in AI operations, technology, quality assurance, Trust & Safety and content evaluation.

Your responsibilities

- Review and evaluate Italian-language AI-generated content, including chatbot responses
- Assess responses for accuracy, relevance, clarity, safety and overall quality
- Label, tag and annotate data used to train and improve AI models
- Identify mistakes, inconsistencies and low-quality content
- Rank AI outputs against detailed quality criteria
- Apply written policies and evaluation guidelines consistently
- Support the training, validation and improvement of Large Language Models

What we are looking for

- Italian proficiency at C2 level, with exceptional written grammar, spelling, comprehension and communication skills
- English at B2 level or above
- Strong understanding of Generative AI and Large Language Models
- Experience or demonstrable familiarity with AI annotation, LLM evaluation, RLHF, SFT, Quality Assurance, Content Labeling, Trust & Safety or similar analytical work
- Excellent critical-thinking skills and attention to detail
- Ability to interpret complex written guidance and make consistent, evidence-based decisions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment while meeting productivity and accuracy targets
