Overview In this role you will design and evolve the ground segment architecture for EO missions, ensuring robust system integration with multi‐mission capabilities. You will work closely with cross‐functional teams to translate input requirements into scalable, traceable solutions. You'll drive mission planning components, data budgeting, and interfaces that connect ground systems to satellites. Responsibilities Analyze system‐level input documentation and define requirements for Ground Segment and subsystems with traceability Perform flow‐down of requirements and maintain baseline using DOORS, Polarion Evaluate design options for large satellite constellation management in a multi‐mission context Define overall Ground Segment architecture, building blocks, and external/internal interfaces Develop Mission Planning components and GS mission‐specific elements,



including algorithms prototyping and testing Contribute to GS data budget analysis for GS sizing Consolidate Ground Segment Baseline documentation (ADD, ICD, requirements baseline, DVCM) Support Ground Segment integration and verification activities across levels Contribute to innovative GS solutions to enhance competitiveness and participate in technical meetings Qualifications Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent; relevant EO ground segment experience Experience with earth observation ground segment systems Knowledge of system engineering processes, requirements and solution design management Understanding of EO mission programming, user requests, and mission planning constraints Experience with ground segment functions (flight dynamics, spacecraft control) and ground stations (S‐Band, X‐Band) Experience in production management (SAR processing orchestration) and RADAR principles Knowledge of
