**Main Purpose of the role**
- Within Group R&D; Packaging Team, the new resource will be responsible for leading Packaging material category & global program for cost saving paired with the support to of the sustainability KPIs delivery for PVM at Regional level. **Location will be flexible in EU.** **What you will do**
- Support the activities of the Packaging Development Managers of the Countries in the region with special attention to cost saving aspects, Sustainability & packaging material innovation expertise;
- Participate on regional/Global/Local tendering process and extended support till execution completion;
- Support regional development and execution of a broad-based, company-wide packaging sustainability strategy, integrating sustainability throughout the company;
- Ensure that PVM packaging sustainability effort enhances consumer experience, business performance and supports the long-term interests of the company on responsible growth;
- Provide inputs and recommend actions to mitigate/ reduce risk profile for material, suppliers etc. with key focus on regional reality;
- Support Local team for adherence to local compliance existing and new development.
- University degree,



ideally in Chemistry or Material Sciences, ideally with specialization in Packaging Technologies.
- At least 8 years of experience in Packaging Development, of which at least 3 years in Food Industry preferably handled packaging sustainability portfolio
- Deep knowledge of chemistry and process technology of packaging materials
- Deep knowledge of food safety aspects of packaging materials and major legal frameworks.
- Good ability to understand, appreciate and manage cultural diversity.
- Team leadership and personal leadership and role modeling
- High influencing and conflict management capability.
- Inclined to changes and able to facilitate change in organizations.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Dynamic and flexible, high commitment to work.
