The Multiscale and Quantum Simulations Research Unit is coordinated by _Sauro Succi_. The research focuses on _the multiscale modeling of complex fluids and soft matter systems and the quantum simulation of physics/engineering problems_, with special focus on fluid flows. Within the research team, your main responsibilities will be: - Assess, develop and run quantum algorithms for classical fluids on classical and quantum computers
- Take active role in grant submission in the area of quantum computing **ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- A PhD in_ Physics and Engineering_, including _Applied Mathematics and Computer Science_, and similar disciplines
- Documented experience in_ nonlinear dynamics, quantum mechanics, computer simulation_
- Strong publication record
- Good command of spoken and written English **ADDITIONAL SKILLS**
- Experience in programming languages for scientific computing
- Knowledge of Fortran/C, Matlab/Matematica/Python
- Ability to work in a challenging and international environment
- Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively in a highly interdisciplinary environment
